Gotta say, I like the second half of the song a whole lot better than the first but I can recognize skill and don't like to discriminate *cough*dude bellow me*cough* Anyway, no real criticism here, keep up the good work.

You have the backrgound following the main melody instead of leading it in or staying on pace with it... I know its a small part of the song but you're obviously at a good enough level to be receive helpful criticism for small things.

It's hard to judge something that's only a piece of a complete song, especially since I have no idea what this is accompanying, but this seems kind of stale to me to be honest. My opinion could sway greatly depending on the rest of the elements for your song.

You might want to clean that area up. It gets really distorted and it sounds like the piece is about to fall apart. Nice save though :)

hmmm

I'm not really that much of a metal guy, but this seems to be pretty good in that category. It only really gets good at the half-way point because the beginning just sounds too messy.

Sounds good for what sounds like a MIDI song

It's decent. Not a bad main melody, the background works too. You might want to go with a different timbre if you want to appeal to more people; this song would be much better with you know... real instruments :D
